1. Click here to review the Physical Fitness Standards, Physical Fitness Test Descriptions and Preparation Instructions.

2. Click here to print the Informed Consent Form (Essential Job Functions of a Police Officer) and the Physician Statement Form. You will be required to bring these completed forms with you to the Physical Fitness Test. If you do not have these completed forms with you at the time of the test, you will not be permitted to participate.

3. Click here to submit the completed Preliminary Testing Application and $50 fee no later than Friday, May 5, 2017. Only one application needs submitted to be considered for any or all of the participating departments.

4. Applicants will take the Physical Fitness and Written Tests on the same date. Applicants successfully passing the Physical Fitness Test will then immediately take the Written Test. You will be notified via US Mail of your assigned testing date after you have submitted the online application. The testing dates are Saturday, May 20th or Sunday, May 21st. Once assigned a testing date, applicants are unable to change to a different date. No applicants will be admitted into the Written Test after it has commenced. Photo identification will be required at the start of the Physical Fitness and Written Tests.

5. Following the testing, all applicants will be notified in writing of their eligibility status. Applicants not passing any phase of the testing process may reapply next year.
